The Bollettieri Tennis Academy is successful because it praises effort. Which is very important because positive reinforcement encourages the behaviour to be repeated and for the person to improve more and more. The opposite and most dangerous form of encouragement and praise is stating the person is talented, a natural or genius because the person becomes afraid of losing those tags and are less likely to step up to the plate than those who are rewarded for effort.
Every endeavour pursued with passion produces a successful outcome regardless of the result. For it is not about winning or losing-rather, the effort put forth in producing the outcome. The best way to predict the future is to create it-therefore, we believe we have the best training methods to help each athlete achieve their dreams and goals and ultimately reach their ability level in the arena of sports and life.
