I have been thinking alot about belief, since I posted ‘Believe and you are halfway there’ but what if your realise that the belief you have may not be the right one for you to achieve your goal.
Anthony Robbins in his book Awaken the Giant within suggested asking yourself 7 question to test your belief and they are:
What I really like about the above questions are how empowering they are, it is your belief to hold on to or let go of.
It is really that easy, just imagine your belief is a pebble you are holding in your hand, now if you no longer want it turn around and throw it as far as you can behind you and smile that you are now free to create your new belief. Now turn back around walk away, in front of you is a huge selection of other pebbles, big ones, small ones, oval ones, round ones and all in different colours. You are finding yourself drawn to one particular pebble, it really stands out to you, you don’t know why, but you are, you feel this pebble represents your new belief. You pick this pebble up and hold it tightly feeling that this pebble and new belief is now yours to take with you in to your new world.
