Basketball or Sport


If you are a member of a group or a team this can be a great little experiment to see the power of the mind and how it can help improve performance.

Set a task, like taking football penalties, basketball free shots, Archery shots or which ever task you are trying to improve.

Record the result of this initial task.

Now split your team or group into 3 separate sub groups.

  1. Physically practice the task for 20 minutes each day
  2. Mentally visualise practicing the task the task for 20 minutes each day
  3. Don’t practice each day

This experiment should last 28 days after which redo the initial task and see how much each group has improved.

You should find the results very interesting.
