Visiting the Doctor in China – So Very Different

0

In the amazing book ‘The Inner Game of Tennis” a book about the important part the mind plays in a game of Tennis.

The author states that in Traditional Chinese Medicine people visit the doctor to find out how they can keep their good healthy and see that if they visit the doctor when they are ill they are too late.

What a paradigm shift to how we operate in the west. We have much more reactive view to our health, “I am ill Doctor make me better”. In the east it ‘Doctor how do I stay well?”

What a massive difference in the perspectives, one is giving their power away to the doctor to fix them (wishing) and the other is asking what advice the Doctor can give the to keep well and then action it with hope.
