I have written this book to share research, examples and techniques to help develop a belief in how the mind can help control pain and quicken our recovery.
Tim Cridland, a Pain Management and self healing master, very kindly wrote the forward. Tim has demonstrated his skills on Channel 4, The Discovery Channel as well as Japanese TV and states that he has no physical advantages over another human beings. He has just learnt techniques to help him manage the suffering and sensations.
“What Tim can do is he can accurately turn off the suffering by getting himself into a certain state. So that, even though we see that pain information is getting right to the place where you feel it, the whole experience of the suffering, hurting, gets turned off. So he doesn’t hurt, so he can take as much pain as he wants.”
Dr. Joshua Prager, UCLA Pain Medicine Center
